The Acrobats of the Circus Project 2011

Last fall I had the opportunity to photograph the performers for The Circus Project 2011.  The Circus Project is a non-profit organization supporting homeless and at risk youth through aerial performing arts.   The training these kids go through is intense and dedicated.  Artistic and executive director Jenn Cohen is doing amazing things in the community and I hope to work with her again!  For more information:  http://thecircusproject.org

Photo Booth for Trillium Charter School Auction

In 2008 when I did my first photo booth I had no idea of how popular they were becoming.  I have met the owners of two local photo booth companies while shooting events and soon realized how unique my photo booths are in comparison.  I do more than just snap a photo with silly props and print it out, I apply custom art work and spend the time to create a "Look" that best descibes your event.  It's so much fun!  I LOVE doing fundraisers, and working with non- profit organizations!  Its very rewarding to be involved in the community and help generate funding for people and places doing fabulous things.  These images are from a photo booth I did for Trillium Charter School's annual auction.

American Heart Association's "Heart Ball" Photo Booth

Last year I had the honor of volunteering my photography services for The American Heart and Stoke Association's annual Heart Walk!  It was so much fun.  Since then I have had the opportunity to be a part of several events for AHA including The GO RED for Women's Lunchen, The WEAR RED AHA/MACY'S Event, and The annual AHA HEART BALL and auction.  Here are a few of my favorites from the Heart Ball photo booth.  The theme for the ball was the Red Carpet, so I put a lil Old School Hollywood twist on the finished images.  I just love doing theme photo booths!

Hello world, I have a blog!

After a long time awaitin' I finally have created a blog for my photography business!  Please join me here for recent sessions, current happenings and special offers!  To kick off this whole blogging thing I am giving away a free session to one lucky family!!!  It will include a theme styled children's photoshoot on location.  To enter the contest please comment leaving a storybook character that best describes your child.
